This is the right plan for you if:
Your low on time to train - less than 7HRs, fairly new to the sport, but have a good base fitness (see our beginner aerobic plan), aged 40+ years, looking to improve muscular endurance & strength on the bike helping you to ride faster for longer, boost technical development and develop your overall cycling efficiency.
Starts: Anytime
Length: 6 weeks
This 6 week cycling program is a beginner/development plan.
Going into this plan you should have a reasonable fitness level that enables you to ride for at least 60 minutes non-stop. There are two key midweek workouts with two/three recovery-rest days interspersed throughout the week. At the weekend you have the opportunity to avail an optional ride which is preferably taken outside. However, despite prescription the plan is flexible and you can tailor suitable workout days if necessary.
This plan is heart rate based so you will need a HR monitor to record data and upload to TP.
