Plan Description
There are times in life when priorities shift. Life happens and we have other responsibilities to tend to.
In these times we looks to our hobbies to bring us joy and a mental release from life's demand. When your hobby is sport and you have goals tied to those hobbies, we keep the goal and change the process to receive mental stress and focus on fun.
This block has the same workouts on the same day week-to-week. This consistency lowers decision fatigue and mental focus by providing consistency. Progressive overload is not planned it, so we are not pressuring you to improve week-to-week. However, the interval power durations are short to allow you to apply progressive overload by increasing the power output if you feel good.
The plan is intentionally a low volume plan to try to assure compliance. If you have extra time, add Z2 at the end of any given workout or on an off day. Keep it Z2 as the stress:benefit ratio is positive, verse riding tempo, threshold, or beyond and risking burn out.
We should walk away after this block feeling mentally and physically refreshed.
