CYCLIST BIKE BOOST ( POWER⚡) ADVANCED ONLY [8WK]
ABILITY: ADVANCED FEMALE
WEEKDAYS: CP & POWER / INDOOR TRAINER WEEKEND: POWER / OUTDOOR BIKE
YOU
Very competitive FEMALE cyclist, under 45 y/old and heart healthy. Serious about boosting bike power. Top of TT's Crits, Zwift rankings, maybe a cat 1 or 2 racer - podium expectations
CONTENT
Weekdays feature critical power workouts (very taxing max effort) and midweek cross threshold intervals to raise FTP and power reserves. Weekends feature alternating easy ride - hill intervals / easy ride - flatter intervals to build a climb engine and easy racing power. Also includes twice weekly optional tabata intervals. Don't want critical power but still want challenging? Swap out the 7 CP workouts for VO2max ones here
OPEN / MALES have their own specific CP / Power boost that reflects their different physiology
Training zones are set with sophisticated Critical Power and FTP tests week one. Full instructions and 'how-to' videos included
WHO'S IT FOR?
Very competitive, strong and injury-free female cyclists looking to push on. You probably cycle 4-5 times a week during the season and have very good power to weight ratio. You want the marginal gains and understand the commitment required. This boost is a perfect conditioning programme for those seeking peak performance ahead of an 'A' race
