Plan Description

This 22-week beginner road racer training program is designed for athletes with busy schedules who want to prepare for a local race while balancing work, family, and social commitments. With just three rides per week, averaging six hours of training (including off the bike strength work), the plan efficiently targets endurance, power, and speed to ensure you're race-ready without overwhelming your time.

To follow the workouts accurately, you'll need a power meter or smart trainer, which are essential for tracking your effort and hitting the right intensity in each session. Whether you're riding indoors or outdoors, this plan will build your fitness and confidence, setting you up to enjoy and be competitive in local road races.
