You've made the decision to embark on an adventure! This training plan is designed to prepare you for your event.
We are working together towards your major goal! Whether it's your first time or you have participated in Ultra Races before. It's now time for your perfect training now!
The upcoming weeks consist of a mix of initial VO2max sessions as well as various Threshold (MIT) workouts, aiming to improve your race pace, lactate threshold adjustments, and most importantly, your cycling economy.
This plan is all about the specific preparation for your adventure. It incorporates High-Intensity Training (HIT) sessions that you can carry out on your road bike, as well as race-specific sessions that you can perform while considering the gravel bike position. A blend of intensity and endurance.
The training volume ranges from around 12 to occasionally 19 hours per week. Of course, you can adjust your training to fit your schedule. However, a certain training load must be completed, and this plan will help you from getting lost in your training.
