Plan Description
This plan is designed to get you ready for gravel racing. Build training for most cyclists usually starts in April or at times you need to build speed towards your goals. Training intensity and race specific sessions will increase throughout the plan. Strength training is adjusted based on the training load from the cycling sessions.
The plan combines the findings of studies investigating the effects of periodization, intensity, and strength training on endurance performance. Fuelling guidelines will help you maximize performance for every session.
Performance testing will assess your progress along the way. Due to my standards, the plan is based on science and results-proven practice. Enjoy!
