Plan Description
This plans has a key focused around a longer weekend ride needed for a sportive type event.
Welcome to our 8 week base plan. This plan is aiming to improve upon our endurance capabilities and our Capacity to ride at or around our FTP. This focused 8 week plan is ideal if you are looking to increase your endurance fitness ahead of a sportive, or a long duration event. This plan is also perfect for someone looking to build a strong foundation before applying some intensity into their training. If you are wanting to gain an increase within FTP within a shorter volume or training time then please refer to our FTP booster plan. If you are looking to do an endurance event that requires riding for long distances at a controlled intensity then this is a great plan for you.
The aim of this plan is to build the physiological characteristics that underpin endurance performance. We highly recommend completing the strength training based on your access to a gym or not. This will build the foundational conditioning needed to progress.
