Plan Description

This 21 week plan will help prepare you for the NGNM United We Are Training Tour. All workouts are based on the cyclists FTP (Functional Threshold Power) and ideally to get the best results are ridden using power and a heart rate monitor. With both of these readings recorded you will reach the required TSS (Training Stress Score) for each session and week which should ensure you do not reach burn out and instead, your fitness will gradually increase over the next 21 weeks.

Life can get in the way and when it does, please do not try and make up on missed sessions, rather just accept you missed the session and focus on the next one. Ideally we want to be within 10 - 15% of each workout and the total weeks session to ensure you reach event week ready to take on this amazing challenge.

Stretching is key so please make time after each session for a bit of stretching or, if you like yoga, please feel free to include yoga where ever possible.
