This plan is intended for athletes who want to prepare for a strong season across all types of terrain. It is recommended that you have a good level of base fitness before beginning this program. The first phase of the training is about building your base fitness and aerobic engine. The second phase translates this into race-specific intervals. By completing this plan you will be prepared to excel in all types of races. Begin this training plan 8-weeks before the season or your target events.
