Plan Description

Building a solid base for your upcoming race season is an absolute must if you want to crush your goal races. A solid base allows you to absorb more high intensity training later in the season, gives you access to more power late in races and allows you to carry fitness easier if injury and illness strike. Despite all those good things, it's the most commonly neglected training block among aspiring racers. If you don't want your year to fizzle out after March, then get cracking! The program places a heavy emphasis on sub-threshold or sweet spot efforts, to increase your fitness in the most efficient and sustainable way early in the season. The program is aimed at riders who are low on time balancing riding with a busy schedule.
