Plan Description
Congratulations on beginning your 6 week training plan #PoweredBy4iiii! You are have made a great choice in selecting a plan that will be both attainable and sustainable while preparing you for spring events. Thanks to the TrainingPeaks Workout Builder, we are able to use your current FTP and power training numbers within each workout. Simply overlay this plan to your account, and the numbers will auto populate, as well as generate projected TSS and IF for more specific training.
This plan is created to give you just the right amount of structure and focused work so that you can see results by the end of the 6 weeks. The main goal is to complete the prescribed workouts in terms of volume and intensity. If time permits and you have the desire to add in more time, feel free to add 10-20 minutes of endurance riding to one or two training rides within the week. You can also add in a 45-60 minute easy recovery spin on Monday or Friday if you would like. With the focused structure, our goal is that you will still have the bandwidth to adequately tackle and succeed at work and at home while you are increasing your training load.
As you go through the focused training plan, the Elevate KHS Pro Cycling Team will be training along side you, preparing for the Tour of Taiwan which begins March 24th!
