🏔️The 55+ Masters Leadville 100 12-Week Training Plan 🚴‍♂️
This plan is made specifically for athletes who are 55 years-old and older, who are participating in the on the Leadville 100 mile Mountain Bike Race.
This plan is demanding, just like the race! This plan is different from other plans because it is made specifically for adults 55+ who must balance recovery demands with the other aspects of life.
Our approach for masters athletes doing HUGE adventures has proven by so many athletes just like you!
Athletes in their 50s, 60s and 70s have used the concepts in this plan to finish Leadville 100! This plan answers the question of how much you need to train to finish Leadville and how to do it when you aren't a 20-year old with unlimited time
This plan builds your fitness, skills and tactics so that you can put together a great performance on race day. It has been proven by the number of finishes and belt-buckles it has accumulated over 15+ years of use by adult athletes.
It starts about 3 Months out from the Leadville Event date each year and ends on the event date each year.

Is This Leadville Mountain Bike Training Plan For You?
This plan is for adults in their 50s, 60s and beyond who are also intermediate and advanced riders who are skilled and/or bold enough to take on a challenging event like the Leadville 100 Trail Mountain Bike Race! It will get you fit but also make sure you are prepared technically, tactically, and logistically. It follows the same progressions and ideas I have used to help athletes get both 9 and 12-hour belt buckles.
The plan requires about 5-8 hours in shorter weeks up to 12-15+ hours in longer weeks. The workouts suggest a range that you choose based on your daily availability, baseline fitness and your goals in the event.
