Plan Description

This Build Phase plan is tailored for adult amateur Downhill riders (ages 18+) training 6–12 hours per week.

It emphasizes anaerobic power, sprint strength, and repeatability between runs. Sessions include sprint intervals, movement patterning, and strength work to improve explosive capacity. Technical sessions integrate full-run simulations and high-speed cornering, with emphasis on braking control and precision at race pace.

Riders without bike park access can replicate intensity through shuttle or push-up sessions on local DH trails.

While not included in this program, this phase should also introduce fueling strategies, equipment setup, and recovery protocols to optimize adaptation and race readiness.
