Plan Description
This 12 week training plan is designed to prepare you for Five UCI Gravel World series qualifier in WA Australia
This is beginner to intermediate level plan aiming to get you to the finish and hopefully qualify.
The plan is split up into four training blocks, each block will target different aspects that you will need to complete this event successfully. Five is a challenging course with nearly 2000m of climbing.
You need to have a good plan, time to train, motivation and appropriate support to get through this training and the event itself.
Volume increases from week one from six hours at just under eight hours to just over 10 hours in week seven, you need to factor this in when you commit to this training plan. Ideally, you will also need access to some hilly or mountainous terrain for many of the training sessions.
