Plan Description

This is a four-week block suited towards winter base training and would be ideal to do after you have already begun training for the upcoming race season. The training plan emphasizes increasing aerobic capabilities through endurance riding, tempo, and sub threshold training. Gym training is included 2-3x days per week. The adaptations from this training include mitochondrial biogenesis, neuromuscular efficiency, and muscle fiber type IIx fibers to tpe IIa.
