This plan is designed to prepare you for a mountain bike race or event.
The intensity and specificity of the training increases throughout the whole plan. Training intensity is described by Heart Rate. It is important that your training zones are correct and defined. If you don't have your zones defined, the easiest way is to measure your HR at rest (when you wake up, after going to the bathroom, lie down and measure for 3min) and the maximum HR, on a climb do the maximum and record the value.
