Plan Description

This plan is most beneficial for Advanced Sophomores to incoming Senior riders looking to make a large gain in fitness before the start of the next season. No Freshman HS athlete should be doing this program without previous training or without consulting us beforehand, not your high school coaches.

*Please note: this is useful for those looking to get STARTED training. However, if you want maximum performance gains. you're best off reaching out to us to get a personal calendar as well as supervision to prevent over-training, under-training, etc.*

Required equipment: HR monitor and Garmin. Power meter is optional but a big bonus.

FAQ: Is this different than what your personal athletes go through?
A: Yes, this is fairly different than our personalized calendars. But this allows you to train without an outside influence.

FAQ: I have a race, vacation, personal event that conflicts with the schedule. What should I do?
A: Race and have fun! It's a summer program. Follow it best as you can, but don't sweat it if you have a race, vacation or event that conflicts.

FAQ: Where is the best place to conduct a Power/HR test?
A: Find a steady 20+ minute climb that averages between 2-6% grade and is uphill the entire interval. Glendora Mountain Road and Palomar tend to be popular ones.
