This is a 12 week build plan for a 6-8 Day MTB Stage Race. Designed to prepare you for the demands of racing for 6-8 days at event, such as Breck Epic, Transylvania Epic, Single Track 6, Pisgha Stage Race, BC Bike Race and Cape Epic. Start this plan 12 weeks before your goal race. Stack this plan on top of the MTB 6-8 Day Stage Race 12 Week Base Plan for best result.

This plan has Rest day on Monday and Friday and Rest week every 4th week.

This plan is a great compliment to the MTB 6-8 Day Stage Race 12 Week Base Plan or someone who has a medium level of fitness and ready to take on a greater challenge.

Along with bike workouts, the plan includes core and yogo workouts to build endurance, power, balance and stability.

Each week is between 7 and 14hrs of training. Weekday workouts are 1 hr to 2hr. Weekend workouts are 2-4.5hrs each.

Plan is designed to start on a Monday with longer workouts on weekends. Custom plans are available by contacting us through our website, http://mtbcoach.com
