Arrive at your training camp or altitude block fit, durable and ready to absorb the load, not be buried by it. This 4-Week Altitude & Training Camp Prep plan builds the aerobic ceiling and fatigue resistance you need on 9 to 12 hours a week, entirely indoors on Zwift or the trainer. WHO IT IS FOR. Cyclists heading to a big training camp, a warm weather block or an altitude stint who want to make every day of it count. HOW IT PROGRESSES. Weeks one to three progressively raise your ceiling and durability through tempo, threshold and steadily longer rides, peaking with a full camp simulation weekend of a three hour day back to back with a two and a half hour day. Week four sharpens and resets your zones with a taper into a fresh FTP retest. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT. It is built around camp readiness, real back to back big days, sustained threshold and long durability rides with efforts placed under fatigue, plus altitude education woven through the notes, arriving rested, easing in, iron status, sleep and the live high train low context. An FTP test bookends the plan, day one and the final day, so you leave with accurate camp zones. WHAT TO EXPECT EACH WEEK. Build the ceiling, raise the volume, absorb the load, then sharpen and reset. You finish able to soak up whatever camp or altitude throws at you.
