Ride your first or fastest Audax brevet with confidence, a 16 week indoor and Zwift friendly build that turns 9 to 12 hours a week into genuine 200 to 600km all day endurance.
WHO IT IS FOR. Randonneurs and long distance cyclists targeting a 200, 300, 400 or 600km brevet, or building toward a Paris-Brest-Paris style event, who train indoors on Zwift or a smart trainer and want a self paced ultra distance engine rather than race sharpness.
HOW IT PROGRESSES. A day one FTP test sets your zones, then base builds into big base, back to back weekends grow from two hours to a full six hour dress rehearsal, and recovery weeks at 4, 8 and 12 keep you fresh. Weeks 9 to 14 rehearse night riding, control point discipline and fuelling before a two week taper to your event.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT. Every ride carries a distinct, creative structure and one verified sports science reference, over thirty distinct papers across the plan. Long rides undulate like real terrain, weekends stack tired legs on tired legs, and the notes coach fuelling at 60 to 90g per hour, night riding, sleep strategy and control point tactics, the things that actually decide a brevet.
WHAT TO EXPECT EACH WEEK. Six days of riding with a Monday rest, two quality days, midweek Zone 2, and a big self paced weekend. Recovery weeks rest Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The final day is your Audax brevet itself, ridden self paced and self supported to the time limit.
