Objective: Gradual reintroduction to structured training following a respiratory infection.
Duration: 2 weeks
Frequency: 4 days/week
Average weekly volume: ~3.5–4.5 hrs
Focus: Restore consistency, monitor recovery, rebuild aerobic foundation, assess readiness for normal training.
Intensity: Primarily Z1–Z2 (<75 % FTP), light tempo (80 %) in week 2.
Equipment: Road or indoor bike, power meter or HR monitor recommended.
Recommended next step: Resume baseline aerobic plan or normal Collective progression if all recovery markers are met.
