This plan is for those looking to get fit in the virtual world. It will prepare you for race type efforts specific to virtual racing as well as build general fitness. You will need a bike trainer (does not need to be a smart trainer but would help in simulating hill efforts). Riding in one of the virtual apps such as Zwift, RGT, Rouvy, etc would enhance the experience but is not necessary.
