This plan provides a good mix of tempo through threshold to progress through a 4 week phase to increase FTP at the end of 1 month.
We have a zwift race or group ride each Sunday built in which can be switched out for any virtual race platform apart from zwift.
The race certainly isn't essential, some may find doing a virtual group ride more enjoyable and just as challenging, so of course go with that.
This is aimed at indoor workouts, which can be linked to your favourite indoor platform such as zwift for example. All you need to do is link your trainingpeaks account to your prefered platform, and you will have your TP workouts listed in the workout section ready to load.

1- Turbo Trainer or Indoor bike, smart trainer is ideal
2- Power meter or virtual power
3- Cadence sensor, although not essential
