The organizer confirms Jackson Forest Grasshopper for Saturday, April 10, 2027. Its one current course covers 32 miles and 4,138 feet, entirely off-road, with a 35-percent singletrack and 65-percent gravel mix through Jackson Demonstration State Forest.
This twelve-week Masters plan spaces hard days for absorption, adds recovery, and preserves enough durability and repeatable climbing and technical control under fatigue to stay composed through 32 off-road miles, 4,138 feet, and roughly 15 miles of singletrack. Long rides prove the complete pacing, fueling, tire, repair, and clothing system without sacrificing freshness.
32 MI · 4,138 FT CLIMBING · 35% SINGLETRACK + 65% GRAVEL, 100% OFF-ROAD · 12 WEEKS · 7–11 HR/WK · MASTERS 50+

Hey, I'm Matti. I spent 11 years at TrainingPeaks, where they trusted me to teach coaches how to coach at TrainingPeaks University. I raced Amateur Elite with Rio Grande Cycling Team and podiumed my age group at Unbound 200 in 2026. I have a degree in biology and exercise physiology from St. Olaf. I'm also a middle-aged dad of three, so I know training doesn't happen in a vacuum. I help gravel riders get stupidly fast without becoming the person who brings a food scale to a party
