The Filthy 50 is 50 miles with about 2,000 feet of climbing on rolling roads that are mostly gravel with some dirt, through northern Minnesota’s lakes country in early October. Expect fall conditions in the 40s to 60s with a chance of rain.
This is a twelve-week plan built for four to six hours a week, when a job and family leave you that and not much more. Most of the work goes toward the steady endurance that fifty rolling miles asks for, using the limited hours you have rather than the higher volume a longer plan assumes.
50 MI · 2,000 FT CLIMBING · 80% GRAVEL, 20% DIRT ROADS · 12 WEEKS · 4–6 HR/WK · TIME-CRUNCHED

Hey! I'm Matti - also known as the Gravel God himself!
If you're into gravel racing and want to be as fast as possible, you had better choose me!
Why?
Because I'm the fastest, least talented person to ever ride a bike. I've made every mistake in the book so you don't have to and I'm here to save you years of failure and struggle.
When I'm not helping my athletes get faster on a bike I write obvious, overlooked training content that makes cycling training easy to understand.
