Belgian Waffle Ride Kansas is 111 miles with about 8,000 feet of climbing on gravel roads, broken up by two cyclocross sections at miles 15 and 55, singletrack at mile 35, and rolling climbs that stack up through the final miles from mile 70.
This is a twelve-week plan for riders who can already spend a long day on gravel and want to get to the start ready for the mix this course throws in. Most of the work builds toward handling the cyclocross sections and singletrack on tired legs and holding up over the repeated climbing across 111 miles, in seven to eleven hours a week.

Hey! I'm Matti - also known as the Gravel God himself!
If you're into gravel racing and want to be as fast as possible, you had better choose me!
Why?
Because I'm the fastest, least talented person to ever ride a bike. I've made every mistake in the book so you don't have to and I'm here to save you years of failure and struggle.
When I'm not helping my athletes get faster on a bike I write obvious, overlooked training content that makes cycling training easy to understand.
