Grinduro France is 62 miles with about 6,500 feet of climbing in the Vosges mountains, run in an enduro format where the climbs are untimed and four descents are timed on steep, technical, forested terrain — half gravel, roughly a third singletrack. The weather is generally warm, but mountain conditions can change.
This is an eight-week plan built around the hours you already have, with most of the work aimed at the repeated climbing and the technical descending that this format asks for. The climbs are untimed but they still add up over sixty-two miles, and the timed descents come after you have already been climbing, so the plan builds both endurance and descending skill.

Hey! I'm Matti - also known as the Gravel God himself!
If you're into gravel racing and want to be as fast as possible, you had better choose me!
Why?
Because I'm the fastest, least talented person to ever ride a bike. I've made every mistake in the book so you don't have to and I'm here to save you years of failure and struggle.
When I'm not helping my athletes get faster on a bike I write obvious, overlooked training content that makes cycling training easy to understand.
