The Giro Sardegna Gravel is about 66 miles with roughly 4,100 feet of climbing on a mix of gravel and paved coastal roads between Muravera and Villasimius, in southeast Sardinia. The riding is fast and non-technical, run in May, when temperatures range from about 18 to 28°C.
This is an eight-week plan for riders who already ride long on weekends and want to be ready for this distance and the repeated climbing that comes with it. Most of the work builds steady endurance on the hours you have, because 4,100 feet of climbing over 66 fast miles adds up even when the roads are not technical.
66 MI · 4,100 FT CLIMBING · GRAVEL/PAVED MIX ON FAST, NON-TECHNICAL COASTAL ROADS BETWEEN · 8 WEEKS · 7–11 HR/WK · FINISHER

Hey! I'm Matti - also known as the Gravel God himself!
If you're into gravel racing and want to be as fast as possible, you had better choose me!
Why?
Because I'm the fastest, least talented person to ever ride a bike. I've made every mistake in the book so you don't have to and I'm here to save you years of failure and struggle.
When I'm not helping my athletes get faster on a bike I write obvious, overlooked training content that makes cycling training easy to understand.
