Gravel Worlds is 150 miles across Nebraska in August, when the heat and humidity do more damage than the terrain. The climbing is rolling and constant rather than steep, so the day is decided by staying fueled and cool for that long — not by the gradient.
This is a twelve-week plan for 150 miles of heat and rolling gravel on four to six hours a week. It can’t replace the volume a race this long rewards, so it trains the highest-value thing on limited time: holding a sustainable, well-fueled pace deep into a long, hot day.

Hey! I'm Matti - also known as the Gravel God himself!
If you're into gravel racing and want to be as fast as possible, you had better choose me!
Why?
Because I'm the fastest, least talented person to ever ride a bike. I've made every mistake in the book so you don't have to and I'm here to save you years of failure and struggle.
When I'm not helping my athletes get faster on a bike I write obvious, overlooked training content that makes cycling training easy to understand.
