Gravel Worlds is 150 miles across Nebraska in August, when the heat and humidity do more damage than the terrain. The climbing is rolling and constant rather than steep, so the day is decided by staying fueled and cool for that long — not by the gradient.
This is an eight-week plan for that distance and heat, built around your hours. Eight weeks assumes you already have endurance to build on — it focuses that base on fueling and pacing for a long, hot day rather than a general build.
150 MI · 10,000 FT CLIMBING · AUGUST HEAT + ROLLERS · 8 WEEKS · 7–11 HR/WK · FINISHER

Hey! I'm Matti - also known as the Gravel God himself!
If you're into gravel racing and want to be as fast as possible, you had better choose me!
Why?
Because I'm the fastest, least talented person to ever ride a bike. I've made every mistake in the book so you don't have to and I'm here to save you years of failure and struggle.
When I'm not helping my athletes get faster on a bike I write obvious, overlooked training content that makes cycling training easy to understand.
