Dirty Reiver is a 124-mile loop with approximately 12,100 feet of climbing, nearly all of it off-road on Kielder Forest gravel access roads. Hard-packed surfaces give way to loose gravel, with changeable April conditions across a remote course.
This is a twelve-week plan for Dirty Reiver’s distance and climbing, built around the higher weekly volume competition takes. The work combines long endurance, sustained power, and hard efforts on gravel after substantial time on the bike.
124 MI · ~12,100 FT CLIMBING · NEARLY 100% OFF-ROAD ON WELL-SURFACED, HARD-PACKED GRAVEL · 12 WEEKS · 9–13 HR/WK · COMPETE

Hey! I'm Matti - also known as the Gravel God himself!
If you're into gravel racing and want to be as fast as possible, you had better choose me!
Why?
Because I'm the fastest, least talented person to ever ride a bike. I've made every mistake in the book so you don't have to and I'm here to save you years of failure and struggle.
When I'm not helping my athletes get faster on a bike I write obvious, overlooked training content that makes cycling training easy to understand.
