Learn to attack, get in the break, and stay away to win. This 8 week Breakaway and Race-Winning Moves training block builds the attack then time trial move, repeated bridging efforts, solo time trial power, over under counter survival, and the tactical decision making that lets you win a bike race from the front, on 7 to 8 hours a week on Zwift or any indoor trainer.
WHO IT IS FOR: Racers who want to stop just following wheels and start making the winning move, who can train 7 to 8 hours a week and want a physiology and craft focused block. Compatible with Zwift and any smart trainer. As a training block you test your FTP on day one and again on the final day to measure your gains.
HOW IT PROGRESSES: Two build blocks around a recovery week take you from learning the attack and hold move, through bridging power and over under counter survival, into sustained solo power and a race-winning move peak, then a sharpening week and a final easing week ending in a retest. The last day is a test only.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT: Every session is distinct and built around the real craft of a breakaway, the classic hard jump straight into a sustained threshold hold, repeated bridging efforts, solo time trial blocks, over unders to survive counters, and full attack, hold and defend simulations with real decision making. Every ride carries a six section briefing, a pre ride cue, and one verified peer reviewed reference.
WHAT TO EXPECT EACH WEEK: Around 7 to 8 hours across five or six rides, two or three quality sessions, an endurance ride with surges, a long breakaway simulation on the weekend, and honest recovery. Weekly notes set the theme, hours and rest days so you always know the plan.
