Train for your criterium and road race with a structured 8 week plan built for riders with 7 to 9 hours a week. This is the complete preparation for the repeated accelerations, attacks and sprints that decide a bike race, building the sprint repeatability, the attack-and-hold power, the sustained threshold for the selections and the criterium simulation skills that let you accelerate out of every corner and still contest the finish. Every ride is Zwift and indoor compatible with full power targets.
WHO IT IS FOR. Amateur and category road and criterium racers with a power meter or smart trainer, training 7 to 9 hours per week, who want to peak for a specific event. It suits riders who can already ride for two hours and want to sharpen the race-winning qualities of sprinting, surging and holding a selection.
HOW IT PROGRESSES. Day one is an FTP test that calibrates every target. Weeks 1 to 3 build sprint repeatability, attack-and-hold surges and threshold, week 4 is recovery, weeks 5 and 6 extend into road-race and criterium simulations and peak your form, week 7 sharpens, and week 8 tapers into your event on the final day. The last day is your race, not a test.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT. Every session is a genuinely distinct, creative design, no two the same across eight weeks, each built on the real power demands of racing. Every ride carries a six part description and a verified academic citation, so you always know what the session trains and why. Weekend race simulations rehearse the exact shape of a crit and a road race.
WHAT TO EXPECT EACH WEEK. Two to three quality sessions, a weekend race simulation, and endurance rides that build the aerobic engine that recovers you between efforts. Weekly notes guide each block, a full taper delivers race-day freshness, and an EVENT DAY game plan sets you up to race with courage and time your finish.
