Plan Description
10-Week Gravel Sub-100 Plan: Build Volume and Threshold for Long-Haul Gravel
For riders targeting sub-100-mile gravel events who already have a solid aerobic base. Five to six sessions per week at peak volume. Saturday long rides build from 90 minutes to 3 hours across the training blocks. Threshold work runs a deliberate progression — starting with 2x8-minute efforts and building through 4x8 and 2x20 formats to descending-duration work — before VO2 takes over in the final block. A power meter is required to execute the quality sessions correctly. Assumes at least 8 weeks of consistent riding before starting.
