12-Week Gravel Century Plan: Build the Volume and Threshold for 100 Miles of Gravel
For riders targeting gravel centuries and 100-mile events who need to build both long-ride endurance and threshold capacity. Five to six sessions per week at peak, with Saturday long rides building from 90 minutes to 3 hours across three training blocks. Threshold format progresses systematically — 2x8 through 4x8 and 2x20 to descending format — before a final block introduces VO2 work. Recovery weeks are genuine recovery weeks. A power meter is required for the quality sessions.
