Plan Description
12-Week Advanced Gravel Plan: High-Volume Base and Quality for Long Gravel Events
For experienced gravel riders targeting long events — 130 to 200 miles — who need to accumulate serious training volume alongside structured threshold and VO2 work. Five to six sessions per week at peak, with Saturday long rides building from 2 hours to 4 hours across three training blocks. The first block builds threshold capacity. The second block adds VO2 and extends the long ride to 4 hours. The third block holds peak volume while maintaining quality. Recovery weeks are non-negotiable at this training load. A power meter is required.
