20-Week Cyclocross Season Plan
Build toward a complete cyclocross season with a long-runway plan that combines cycling fitness, short running sessions, race skills, and event-specific preparation. This plan is for intermediate racers with an established aerobic base.

- Longest ride: three hours; longest run: 30 minutes
What the Plan Trains
- Power-guided endurance, tempo, Sweet Spot, and FTP work
- Short sprint efforts and changes of pace
- Cyclocross starts, dismounts, remounts, and race simulation
- Short steady runs, hill repetitions, and off-bike intervals

Equipment and Workout Delivery
A cyclocross bike is needed for skills sessions. A road bike may be used for appropriate endurance rides. A power meter is required for the prescribed cycling targets, and GPS is supported.
This plan uses written workout targets and execution instructions and does not currently include structured workout files. Start the plan 20 weeks before your goal cyclocross event.
Serious goals. Real lives. Structured training that respects both.
KyleCoaching helps masters and time-constrained cyclists build endurance, raise FTP, develop race-specific power, and stay durable without treating recovery, work, and family as rounding errors.
