Plan Description

CX is coming fast and you don't quite feel prepared!? Here's the plan you need. This is the last second focus you need to get dialed for quickly approaching cyclocross season. This plan has it all: intensity, endurance, skills and even some running because come on, it's cyclocross!

This plan assumes you've had a decent spring and summer of base training and maybe some racing as well. So you aren't coming into this training from ground zero. If you've only got 8 weeks before CX racing starts getting serious, you've gotta jump straight into some serious intensity to have enough time to get ready. In this plan you'll progress from threshold training to VO2 with some spiky intervals to get legs sharp for those cx-focused accelerations.
