Meet Coach Brian Passenti

 Endurance Sports Veteran and Experienced Coach

For almost four decades, Brian Passenti has been involved in endurance sports. He has participated in triathlons of all distances, from sprints to Ironmans, as well as foot races ranging from one to over 240 miles. He has coached athletes of all ages and abilities, from juniors in track and field to high school cross country and adult fitness classes. In 2018, Brian joined AEC and began working with endurance athletes in ultrarunning, cycling, and mountain objectives. His extensive coaching history brings a wealth of experience to the team.

Brian’s precision process for training athletes of varying disciplines and distances involves strategically planned training phases that allow for muscle adaptation and growth in recovery. Training plans are built in advance and loaded into Training Peaks, the world’s most powerful fitness app and leader in exercise analysis. Each workout has descriptions, target zones, exertion, and duration parameters. Brian is always available to his athletes for clarification of a workout. Jason Knight has a passion for helping runners of all levels get to the start line focused, healthy and with confidence. Having completed his first full marathon in 2024, Jason has firsthand experience of what it’s like to focus on training and take your running journey to the next level while finding joy and meaning in the experience. Jason holds a UESCA Running Coach Certification.
