Resistentia: Jose Vela & Alejandro Lopez Coach Bios

Jose has been a full time coach since 2013-2014 when I finished my studies in high performance focusing on cyclic sports from triathlon, cycling or running, where I have managed to reap success at all levels from amateurs with slots to different world championships to high level cyclists. Personally I have qualified for both 70.3 and long distance world championships, and this experience allows me to better understand the athlete needs.

Alejandro is a specialist professor in endurance training at CEU Cardenal Herrera university (Spain) with a master´s degree in high performance specialising in improving endurance performance. I have successfully coached cyclists, runners and triathletes since 2010 and my experience as a middle and long distance triathlete has allowed me to get the best performance of my athletes.

Coach Michelle Vesterby Bio

I’ve raced professionally since 2012 with three long distance wins and three top 10 finishes in Hawaii. In 2020 I started my own coaching company, because I got so much energy in return from helping and motivating other people with the core value “Keep Smiling!” My plans are mainly about balance and being specific in the training, because I know you don’t have 30 hours a week to train. They are planned to get the most out of your training, your time and give you the best possible day at your Challenge Family race. Keep Smiling is my motto – because life is too short not to do what you LOVE!
