I bring a strong background in endurance sports as an IRONMAN finisher, IRONMAN 70.3 finisher, and former high school track athlete. I have accomplished these goals while pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, so I understand what it is like to balance demanding physical training with the pressure of academics.
My coaching is designed especially for college students and busy athletes who want to reach their endurance goals without losing balance in the rest of their life. I help athletes build not only fitness, but also discipline, consistency, and confidence. My coaching philosophy is rooted in committing to a goal, showing up consistently, and letting small daily progress culminate into major results.
My nursing background gives me a strong foundation for understanding the body and using key metrics to tailor training. Courses such as anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and nutrition have helped me better understand how the body responds to stress, recovery, fueling, and adaptation. Combined with my own experience in endurance racing, this allows me to create training plans that are individualized to each athlete’s goals, fitness level, schedule, and needs.
