As a qualified level 3 British Cycling coach and as someone who has benefited from the services of a coach, I am convinced it is the most effective way of consistently improving performance on the bike and ultimately the enjoyment you get from the sport. When training has to be squeezed in around family and work commitments then you want to know that time spent on the bike is productive and helping you achieve your ambitions.
Having worked with cyclists and triathletes of all abilities up to elite GB squad level, I am very experienced at coaching with perceived exertion, heart rate and power (or ideally a combination of all three). Whether you are an experienced racer, sportive rider or novice wishing to gain fitness and/or lose weight, utilising my keep-it-simple approach, backed-up with the latest analysis software such as Training Peaks and WKO4, I am positive I can make a real difference to your confidence and ability on the bike.
As for me, I have experienced most forms of bike racing over the years including Road racing, Time Trialling, Triathlon, Duathlon and most recently Cyclocross (including The Three Peaks). Cyclocross is great fun and I highly recommend it to anyone. Not sure I can say the same about cycling The Three Peaks!
