As a coach certified under USA Cycling, USA Triathlon, and the American College of Sports Medicine, I believe in training protocols that are science-based and research-driven. I want to help my clients apply the proper combination of training stress, intensity, and rest/recovery modalities that will result in peak performance conditions. I don't promise success - you need to put in the work for that - but I do offer a plan to guide you along the way.

My Philosophy:
For many athletes, though they are passionate about their sport, training comes second to life and family responsibilities (and rightfully so). Time is valuable - so what time you do have in the pursuit of becoming a better, stronger, and more efficient athlete should not be wasted. In addition to White Pine Athletics' one-on-one coaching, I write training plans that are designed to maximize time to achieve the greatest possible adaptation by focusing on science-based and research-driven approaches to training, performance, athlete development, and injury prevention.

With over 15 years experience as a coach, I have always been passionate about sport performance, and enjoy the opportunity to pass along the knowledge I have gained to others in an effort to help my clients grow as athletes.⁣

In addition to my formal education, I have completed multiple Ironman events, half marathons, grueling cycling stage races, and other endurance events. My goal is to take my coaching background, knowledge of strength training, and physiology and apply science-backed principals and concepts to my clients' training programs. I truly love watching my athletes succeed!
