I work with cyclists, triathletes and runners, including ultra-athletes - as your coach I can help you craft your goal, and create the blueprint to get you there. I take into account realistic life constraints, and the mental keys to success.
Current Level 1 Triathlon coach. Level 3 USA cycling coach trained, power analysis certified and years of coaching experience.
I love taking athletes to their next level, wherever their starting point.
Native New Mexican growing up as a swimmer. Swam through high school and college. I got into cycling after graduating from college, following the footsteps of my brother who was a professional cyclist. I raced in the pro level across the country for five years, making it to many of the biggest events in the country with elite development teams out of California and Utah.
After an injury sidelined me in 2016, I took several years off to focus on non-riding career development. I focused on strength training while I was off of competitive sport. In 2019 I re-entered competitive endurance sports and have been enjoying competition all over the spectrum of endurance sport - including short and long course triathlon, running and gravel racing.
While I continue to compete and try new endurance sports and find new ways to challenge myself, a HUGE passion of mine for the past seven years has been coaching. It brings my passion for sport to a whole new level. I absolutely love playing the role of cheerleader, I love helping people explore and break through boundaries and I love making training WORK for people with demanding lives outside of just sports.
I have developed a deep understanding of how athletes function psychologically and physiologically over the years. I strive to get to know each athlete individually and to create a plan uniquely geared to their psychology, their body and their life demands.
