I have an innate passion for fitness and endurance sports for all my life and now I use this to motivate athletes and people around me to be their very best. I am an IRONMAN Certified Coach and a Certified Coach from the Brazilian Triathlon Confederation. I have experience coaching athletes in a broad spectrum of levels and distances from a 5K road race to a FULL IRONMAN.
I ran my first race in 2009. In 2012 I finished my first sprint distance triathlon in Rio de Janeiro. At the completion of this race, I made a verbal commitment to race in an Ironman to be held the following year in Cozumel. As time went on and I put more races in the books, I soon realized that I had promising potential in endurance sports. I have experience that helps me to relate with the profile of the majority of today's triathlete who must juggle work, family, social, and training commitments. While training and racing, I also began my university studies in physical education in addition to working a full-time job which required extensive travel. As an avid reader and researcher of the sport, I developed a solid understanding of its intricacies such as technology/equipment, nutrition, and training methods. This gave me the knowledge and insight to design tailored programs geared to maximize performance for my athletes. Since 2013 until nowaday, I coached myself and athletes (that I prefer to call as my friends) to successfully finish many races and Ironman. I decided to turn my passion into my life's work. I enjoy sharing the knowledge that I have gained to help and inspire others to fall in love with something that means so much. My strong background is in cycling. As a native of the Rio de Janeiro, I spent the majority of my time training on what I refer to as my home race course Ironman Florianopolis.
