I am a qualified Multi-Sport Coach and Mental Health first aider. My passion is using sport to help people improve their physical and mental health through sport and exercise.

I’m a 40-year-old with 4 children each with there extra needs, so I know how important work, life training balance is. I also know how life can change in an instant.

I also know the freedom that sport, and training can give you when life hits hard, having been diagnosed with depression and anxiety in the past. I got show by my coach how to control the symptoms naturally through running and gym sessions. So here I am passing on the baton so to speak a coaching other, so they don’t go down the same dark alleys I did.

At 18 st (113kg) I completed my first Ironman distance shortly after getting help with my diagnoses, I was told by a few people that I my weight I wouldn’t complete it. so, I stuck up two fingers and said watch me. That year I completed a half marathon, my first marathon, a half ironman distance event and the Lakesmans triathlon with 4 weeks or less rest between them.
