BIO
My ambition at a young age was to join the Army as an officer. However due a near fatal hit with a taxi, leaving me having to learn how to read and write again, I had to reconsider my plans. As a result of this I decided to pursue what I loved best, keeping fit, healthy and active.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
I developed my knowledge of health and fitness by studying Sport & Exercise science at the University of Leeds. I continue to expend my knowledge and I am now studying a part time master in Strength & Conditioning at St Mary's University. I have developed my experience through Personal Training in London, my clients have ranged from sedentary Londoners, MOD personal and Ultra marathon runners to prison convicts. I have a passion for endurance events having successfully completed numerous challenges, most notably the UTMB Chamonix and Oman, 260km Wadi Rum Desert ultra, a 200-mile ultra run, a 125-mile kayaking race and a 3000-mile cycle ride from the UK to Istanbul. I have a good balance between the knowledge and experience needed in order to get results.
PHILOSOPHY OF TRAINING
My training philosophy is that our bodies are very good at adapting to stress placed on it however the stress needs to be applied in a progressive, varied and consistent way.
