Dr. Jon Metz is only one of a few hundred people who hold the certification of USA Triathlon Level II Coach. He is also a USA Triathlon Youth & Junior Certified Coach, IRONMAN Certified Coach, and TrainingPeaks Certified Coach. In addition, to his coaching expertise, he has been professionally trained as an educator to impart knowledge to learners. As President and CEO of TriVault. In addition to his leadership responsibilities with TriVault, Daemen College recently announced the hiring of Dr. Metz as the first head coach of the women’s triathlon program. Metz has experience racing all distances from sprint to Ironman. What sets him apart from other “coaches” is his ability, as an educator, to understand the intricacies of teaching principles and methods.
Jennifer Redding is a USAT Level I Certified Coach. She has also been a certified group exercise instructor since 2008 with her primary focus on the development of core strength and endurance. She has run several marathons and half marathons, qualifying for Boston and NYC. She has completed many full and half IRONMAN races. She qualified and raced in the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona and multiople IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships. As a USA Triathlon All-American, Jennifer has raced in the USA Triathlon Olympic and Sprint Nationals earning herself a spot on Team USA to represent the United States and compete in the International Triathlon Union’s (ITU) World Championships.
