Coach Bio

With a background in middle distance running and experience bike racing in elite and pro fields across the United States over the last several years, Travis has a wealth of experience in training, racing, and competing in cycling and running. Custom plans are provided a month in advance with updates made each week. I have a consultation with athletes before beginning and we have an in depth discussion each month in order to ensure you're on track to achieve your goals in training and racing.

Travis is an experienced cyclist and runner and is looking to help you take your training to the next level so you can achieve success in your target events. I enjoy working with runners training for a race from 800m to 8k cross country to a trail run competition with your friends. I enjoy working with athletes who are training for any road discipline (road race, criterium, time trial), cyclocross, or fondos/century rides. I have had the pleasure of working with some of the best athletes, and coaches, in the country. I now want to take what I've learned over that time and use it to help other athletes achieve their goals, whether that be to finish a turkey trot or fondo, to qualify for nationals, or to win the local spring road race.

In the end, what we do is about you. I want you to be excited about your goals, your progress, and your training. We will begin with a consultation to determine your training history, availability, goals, events, strengths, and weaknesses. After this consultation, you will be able to determine if you want to move forward with the coaching. We will create a custom plan, built for you, so that you arrive to your events ready both physically and mentally.

I prefer cyclists to have power meter and heart rate but athletes who only have heart rate can still achieve great results and I am happy to work with them. For runners, heart rate would be ideal but we can work just based on pace.
