Coach Bio

As Former pro triathlete (1995 - 2005) and olympian (Sydney 2000) I picked up coaching triathletes from 2008. The first ten years i worked with my own developed and programmed training system Tritrack. From 2018 added the use of Trainingpeaks for trainingschedules and data-analysis. Tritrack system i still use for racecalenders, race analysis and making up personality profiles of my coached athletes.

At the age of 13 (1987) competed in my first youth triathlon. Competed at youth and junior national and international championships. Combined the triathlon in that year with my study of physiotherapist. From age 22 (1996) started as pro triathlete. 1997 World cup winner Embrun, 4 x times winner Alpen Triathlon Schliersee, 4 x times winner ITU Triathlon Holten, 2 x times 3rd place ITU European Championships, 6th place ITU World Championships Perth 2000. After i stopped my pro carreer and started coaching triathletes i continued racing for fun! Every year i compete in several 70.3 IM races and every two years i do an full Iroonman. Beside my love for the support (in coaching and racing myself) i own sportnutrition brand NutrID (Personalised Sport Nutrition)( and every year organise Tricamps on the island of Mallorca ( I have a no-nonsense approach in coaching. Training structure and training consistency are key factors. I give you the knowledge and the tools to become a better triathlete. make the magic happen!
